S.H.A.P.E. - A Spiritual Journey Inward to go Outward
Wonderfully made we are! Our personalities, gifts, passions, abilities and experiences are truly treasures bestowed by a loving Father. Often, we find many of these gifts or attributes to be out of sight, concealed just below the surface like undiscovered veins of gold. The passionate heart says, “I am a precious part of the community and want to make use of my God-given gifts”. The uncertain mind responds saying, “I know I have something to offer, I’m just not sure what it is?” Mercy Street invites you to attend SHAPE, a two-part seminar series designed to help you identify your God-given gifts and abilities and make more clear ways to share them with our community.
Spiritual Gifts- includes hospitality, leadership, encouragement, mercy, shepherding
Heart – your passion for people, issues, ideas, life, ethics
Abilities – communication, music, creative arts, coordination, administration, teaching
Personality – your temperament, extrovert, introvert, questioning, curious, bold, careful
Experience – life events, family background, education, spiritual growth, vocation, transitions
When: August 7th and 14th (must attend both sessions)
Time: 1-5 PM
Where: Mercy Street (YB 101 next door to the Mercy Street offices)
